Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) project was in news due to its approval by the Delhi’s Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung on 11 June 2014.
I'm very happy as Delhi is progressing and keeping pace with the changing technology worldwide !Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) project was in news due to its approval by the Delhi’s Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung on 11 June 2014.
RRTS is a rail based system that connects small but fast developing towns in the NCR region. The goal of RRTS is to reduce the dependence of commuters on road based transportation to a combination of road-cum rail transportation system.
The Union Cabinet on 11 July 2013 approved constitution of National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC) for designing, developing, implementing, financing, operating and maintaining Regional Rapid Transit system (RRTS).
